The gold accordion in this video was what she had been saving for years and her father, Sergio, surprises her with it and gave her the good news that Hohner was sponsoring her.
Later in 2016, Jennifer decided to show some of her singing talents for other Mexican music genres she has studied from when she was in the Mariachi in San Benito High School. She released “Crucifijo de Piedra” and “Ya Lo Sé Que Tú Te Vas” on Youtube as a surprise to her fans which left the audience in awe. “I wanted to show my fans that I can do more; music from Mexico is my most preferred music.” - Jennifer Degollado.
